Competition of children’s drawings and essays

Dear friends, we are pleased to announce that the Bailyk Finance Microcredit Company, together with the Youth Movement “I Love Kyrgyzstan” and the International Camp “Jetigen”, announce the launch of a competition of drawings and essays among children.

To date, Bailyk Finance is constantly promoting an increase in the level of financial literacy among the population of the country by conducting thematic trainings, open days, information campaigns and other events among the adult population. In order to educate financial literacy among children, the main tool remains the implementation of their creative ideas. In this connection, the competition “Financial Literacy Through the Eyes of Children” was organized, the main goal of which is to develop the skills of managing personal finances in the younger generation, understanding the need for careful consumption, and increasing the level of financial culture and literacy.

Bailyk Finance has been participating in the World Money Week for several years in a row, initiated by the National Bank in Kyrgyzstan.

For reference: Global Money Week (GMW) is a financial literacy initiative supported by 176 countries around the world. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the GMW Initiative, with the motto “Build your future, be smart with your money”.

Students of general educational institutions of preschool and school age, as well as orphanages from all over Kyrgyzstan can take part in the Competition under the general title “Financial Literacy Through the Eyes of Children”. The following topics and format have been defined depending on the age group:

• 5-7 years old drawing competition on the topic “What is money?”
• 8-11 years old drawing competition on the topic “How to save up for a dream?”
• 12-17 years old essay competition “My future business”

Details on the requirements for submitted works can be found in the Regulations on the competition (Regulations on the competition in the Kyrgyz language).

An electronic copy of the work can be provided in the period from 03/16/2022 to 03/31/2022 by mail mdkyrgyzstan@gmail.com. After an initial selection by an independent jury, the winners will be determined by voting on the Instagram page @campjetigen. The announcement of the winners in each category will take place on 04/06/2022.

The winners will be awarded the following valuable prizes, depending on the prize place taken:

• Winners in the drawing competition on the theme “What is money?” will receive: a scooter, a set for creativity, a lego table;
• In the drawing competition on the topic “How to save up for a dream?” gifts are: a bicycle, a Yandex smart speaker, a portable bluetooth speaker;
• In the essay competition “My Future Business” the prize fund: Mi 9 smartphone, wireless headphones, Smart watch.
