TOT within the framework of the State Program for Improving the Financial Literacy of the Population
The Company’s employees underwent training for trainers (ToT) under the State Program for Improving the Financial Literacy of the Population for 2016-2020, the implementation of which is coordinated by the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As part of this Program, since July 2019, AMFO, together with the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), launched a project aimed at training trainers and conducting large-scale financial literacy training for the population.
Master Trainer of our Company Director of the branch “Central” – Cholpon Asakeeva conducted a four-day training for 11 employees who in the future will share financial literacy skills with the population of the country.
The training took place in the following modules:
- Financial planning and budget
- Saving
- Borrowing
- Risks and financial security
- Protection of the rights of consumers of financial services
All trained employees have become certified trainers and will provide training for the adult population of the country – consumers of financial services, students, entrepreneurs, employees of budgetary organizations. It is expected that as a result of the training, financial literacy and the efficiency of using personal finances of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, in particular, the younger generation, will increase.
