COURSE TOWARDS SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

The Bailyk Finance team completed training in ESG Principles.

From April 7 to 14 and from May 12 to June 5, 2025, the Bailyk Finance team successfully completed the online professional ESG certification program, confirming its commitment to the principles of sustainable development and responsible business.
🌱 The Bailyk Finance team completed training on 2 levels:
▫️ ESG Foundation — basic knowledge of ESG and sustainable development
▫️ ESG Expert — practical ESG tools

📜 Following the training, the employees received international certificates “Basic ESG” and “ESG Expert” from the ESG Management School (Astana) and the National Academy of Corporate Governance.

For reference: The concept of “sustainable development” is defined by 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals, and an indicator of companies’ commitment to these goals is adherence to the ESG principles (Environmental, Social, Governance – environmental responsibility, social policy, corporate governance). The ESG agenda in Kyrgyzstan is increasingly coming to the forefront, and there is some experience of individual private initiatives, the civil, financial, industrial sector and energy.

Currently, the primary task in the financial sector of the Kyrgyz Republic is to structure a common understanding and vision of the role of the financial sector in the sustainable development of the country, and for this purpose, it is necessary to develop and approve a framework for green, social and sustainable financing.
